Why do you give gas cards as an employee gift?

Why? Because it's easy!

That's the real, answer, but one sentence blogs aren't very interesting; and neither are those gift cards.

Whether you are handing out gift cards for employee motivation and recognition or you're handing them out for an employee holiday gift, please stop. Look, I know why you're doing it, but I also want to let you know, you don't have to.

If you have an employee base of 300 or 10,000 there's nothing more challenging than trying to manage how to distribute the employee gift. Tell me if this sounds familiar.
